End of the effusive Phase on October 31 to 4:17 p.m.
From 4:17 p.m., October 31, the tremor recorded by the instruments of the Observatory has fallen sharply in the space of 2 minutes, announcing the end of the current phase effusive. At the time of writing this message, a slight degassing remains.
On Saturday, October 31 at 17:00, no more lava fountain activity or strombolian explosion is visible at the vent newly appointed Piton Kalla and Pele. The weather conditions remain good on-site, and the Piton Kalla and Pele remains observable from the path leading to the Piton de Bert.
To recall, in eruptive phase and no major change in the activity or in the recorded signals, the transmission frequency of detailed bulletins from the observatory is one by week.
