The volcano has vibration fluctuations with a decreasing trend

From Monday, March 14 at 7:00 to the time of issuance of this report, the seismic vibrations of the Chaparrastique volcano continues to show fluctuations with a declining trend. In the last 24 hours, the vibration has fluctuated between 127 and 198 units RSAM / hour, with an average of 156 units, the maximum threshold of normal behavior RSAM per hour is on average of 150 units
Surveillance cameras show that the top of the volcano is still very cloudy, it does not allow to observe the crater. Meanwhile, the network of local observers did not report anomalies in the region.
MARN continues its enhanced surveillance of the volcano, maintains close communication with the General Directorate of Civil Protection and local observers.
MARN invites journalists and people not to approach the summit of the volcano, because of the degree of danger it poses.
