After an eruptive activity of strombolian style , which was observed yesterday between 19h00 and 21h00 TL, the Tungurahua volcano has shown a decrease in the level of energy released. In addition, three discrete explosions occurred at 20h15, 21h10 and 22h48 TL. All were small to moderate in size, with light acoustic wave generated that set into vibration the windows in neighboring regions.
This morning, some seismic events can be recorded, of low amplitude. Overnight and this morning it was not received reports of ash falls or sounds.
The volcano is cloudy, but there is a fine layer of snow in the higher parts of the cone. In addition there was the rain that washed the pastures of the entire region of the ash accumulated yesterday afternoon since the start of the reactivation of the volcano , at 13.40 .
