The Chilean capitol with all its charm is tucked at the foot of the Andes. Although it has become a modern and busy town there are still some parts of it full of romantic charm.

Arrival at Puerto Natales and check-in at hotel SALTOS DEL PAINE*** or similar.
Night at hotel.

DAY 2: PUERTO NATALES – BALMACEDA AND SERRANO GLACIER
Early departure from the hotel to board a boat towards Mount Balmaceda (2035 m) in O’Higgins Park. The journey begins at the dock of Puerto Natales. We can see from the boat Coihues, Canelos, Lenga woods. We navigate along the coast, the boat then approaches sea lions. We then land on the north of the Glacier Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier. We then go on foot to this beautiful site and take advantage of this scenery. We board the boat again and we then stop at Hosteria Monte Balmaceda where a typical Patagonian barbecue awaits us.
In the early afternoon, we embark on a zodiac to sail the Rio Serrano and enter the park Torres del Paine, declared Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO in 1978. Transfer to Hosteria Lago Grey to sleep by the lake.

DAY 3: LAGO GREY – LODGE PAINE GRANDE
After breakfast, we embark on a boat to cross the length of Lago Grey. Lovely views of the impressive glacier of the same name: 300Km2, 25km long. It is the end of the continental ice field (campo de hielo sur) which flows into Lake Grey forming large blue icebergs that drift over the lake pushed by southerly winds.
We land at the foot of the glacier for a four-hour hike to reach our lodge for the night. A day of sailing and hiking at the foot of Paine massif, a granite giant.

Optional: Walking on Grey Glacier.

DAY 4: LODGE – SAILING ON LAC PEHOE – PUNTA ARENAS
This morning, we leave for an hour sailing on a catamaran on Lake Pehoe. We meet our driver and then go for a walk through the lagoons Mellizas, Larga, Cuadrada and Los Cisnes, with beautiful views of the lakes Nordenskjold and Sarmiento. We will have the opportunity to see local wildlife, mainly guanacos (Andean camelid) and ñandúes (Andean ostrich) that may cross our path. Privileged moments for animal or photography lovers.
We leave the Torres del Paine National Park alongside the Amarga Lagoon, to reach Punta Arenas and Estancia Rio de Los Ciervos, where we meet our guide for our day trip the following day.

DAY 5 – PUNTA ARENAS – MAGDALENA ISLAND – MARTA ISLAND – PUNTA ARENAS
After breakfast departure for Cabo Negro, the place where we embark on a long boat 11 metres long. We head to the island Magdalena. We disembark and walk where there is one of the largest colonies of Magellanic Penguins (more than 150,000). We will mingle for an hour with these very amazing birds. Then we take the boat to move towards Marta Island. It houses more than 1,700 sea lions, cormorants, skuas, Southern Gaviotines sea elephants and Sailors. While browsing it is possible to see southern right whale dolphins and commerson’s dolphins.
For reasons of the protection of wild life we cannot land on the island. We will just admire and photograph the colony and many seabirds. Back to Punta Arenas. We then meet at the Estancia Río de Los Ciervos, a genuine museum of the Patagonian culture and history of the estancias.
