Mt. Lokon in N. Sulawesi erupts again:
20 May 2015.
The Lokon, above the town of Tomohon, North Sulawesi, erupted Wednesday, spewing volcanic ash were blown by the wind to the north. “This is the second after a last eruption in September,” announced the news agency Antara citing Nelly, a resident of Kinilow in North Tomohon district. The member of Mt. Lokon monitoring station staff , Mahawu Ferry , confirmed the volcanic eruption. “The eruption occurred at 15:20 and vomited volcanic ash to a height of about 1500 meters,” he has said.
The head of the Center of Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG) of Kakaskasen Farid Ruskanda Bina said that because of the strong volcanic activity, the agency has set up an exclusion zone around the volcano.
This is related to the formation of new craters and the presence of fractures in western Tompaluan crater occurred on September 13, 2014. The new craters and cracks that have formed on one of the mountains, quite high, extends to the south and northwest over a length of about 200 meters, with a number of holes of eruptions with a diameter about 4 to 14 meters. Even the last eruption has not occurred in the crater Tompaluan but in these new craters and fissures.
The PVMBG settled a 2.5 km exclusion zone around the peak Lokon in Tomohon district. “The danger zone must not be violated because it is the first preventive stage of the eruption,” warned Farid.
This volcano is still on alert level 3 / Siaga since 24 September 2011.

Piton de la Fournaise, La Réunion :
According to Nicolas Villeneuve (Director of the volcano observatory of the Plaine des Cafres) “The flow front has not progressed. The tremor is stable for 48 hours now and the rate fell slightly to vent. “The lava flow has stagnated somewhat and does not descend much now. The phenomenon is visible from the Piton Bert and also from the lava path.
Since today, there is a high concentration of sulfur dioxide, alert thresholds have also been exceeded (sensitive people abstain …).

New lava flow on the volcano Reventador
Since the end of last week, images of the thermal imaging camera located in the area of Copete show the presence of a lava flow that descends on the south side of Reventador volcano, forming a sort of delta and divided into three fronts on the flanks southeast and southwest of the volcano. The thermal image recorded on May 19, notes a length of over 1000 m.
Figure 1. Thermal image of Reventador. High temperatures are noticed in the southern and southeast flank of the cone.
From 1:50 p.m. UTC (8:50 local time) the day of May 17, 2015, an increase in the emission of tremor has been observed. This increased amplitude may be related to the extrusion of the lava.

Unfortunately cloudy conditions that have prevailed in recent days have not helped permitted to directly link the tremor has increased activity and note the start of the descent of the lava flow. When the weather permits, columns of gas and steam of low height (less than 500 m) were observed.
