Based on visual observations, the activity of G. Lokon was observed with white smoke emissions, thin, thick, with a height of around 25-125 m.
Seismicity of Lokon is dominated by tremors, low continuous deep volcanic earthquakes (VB) and emission earthquake. In the period from 28 October to 5 November 2015, the seismicity tends to fluctuate, and there emerges a tendency to an increase in emission tremor, these earthquakes are a vibration near the surface, so that when there an increase of seismicity in the shallow areas, it is generally transmitted directly as an eruption. The difference in amplitude of tremor shows a relatively unchanged amount. The SSAM data has tended to fluctuate during the period from 28 to 5 October 2015, but the data have shown a tendency to increase gradually.
Eruptive potential is still there, but it is not known when or how intense the eruption will occur.
The danger of the eruption of Mount Lokon is currently in the form of volcanic ash that spread depending on the wind direction and speed.
Based on visual observations, seismicity, and measures SSAM and potential threat of an eruption of Mount Lokon, dated on November 5, 2015 at 18:00, the level of volcanic activity of G.Lokon is LEVEL III (ALERT / Siaga).
